The home inspection process employed by Pecars is based on the InterNACHI Standards of Practice.  Please read The Standards, in their entirety, at www.nachi.org/sop.

What can you expect Pecars to inspect on your home?  I will spare you each individual detail, here's the bare minimal that you can expect to see reported on in most home inspections.

  • Exteriors / Garages / Lot Grading and Drainage

  • Roofing Materials and their overall condition

  • Chimneys and Appliance Venting

  • Attics / Ventilation / Insulation

  • Interiors / Cabinets / Appliances

  • Furnaces / Boilers / Fireplaces

  • AC Systems and Air Handlers

  • Electrical Drops / Panels / Distribution System

  • Plumbing Fixtures and Water Heaters

  • Foundations / Basements / Crawlspaces

It's often brought up by realtors, while looking down at their watches, that I take longer than most inspectors and that I tend to be overly critical.  The general reply is "I hear that, often" and smile.

I do for you and your family what I would do for my own.  That's my promise to you.  I keep my business small enough so that I can ensure that each and every client feels that they have my complete and total attention.
